is it worth the money? how much more would it be to get a T04? or a t4/t3 hybrid? if i can only get 300hp or so out of it, it don't seem worth it....

prob cheaper to get a T3/t4.....

until you realize that you cant bolt it the stock manifold, need custom lines, etc etc....

if your looking for a bolt on turbo, the t28 might be worth it (not really when you can send your stock t25 to forced performance, and get it made to a Big28, which will yeild a little more hp)

Well my goal is 400hp, and to get there within 2 years....so i don't want to get something that isn't gonna let me get there....so would a T3/T4 BB get me to 400hp? cause i'm pretty sure that a T28 wouldn't......also are you running a T25? is so what times have you managed to achieve, or what kinda times have you seen with it? and what kinda dyno runs?

I've seen the S15 turbo make over 300rwhp on a CA18.

And you don't need custom lines or custom anything... all you need is a dremel tool to slot out 2 bolt holes on the oil return, a vise to bend it a SLIGHT bit with and a wrench to clock the turbo a little so it dosn't hit. It took me about 40min to do all the 'work' required to fit it onto my car when I put one on it almost 2 years ago. The S15 turbo will still flow better through the exhaust than an upgraded T25 (better wastegate design) plus it's full ballbearing, and has an inconel turbine wheel. Very pimp....

So...paul. Can I call you paul? You can make 290whp with a s13 sr20det with a s15 turbo? I want to make as much power as possible without upgrading the headgasket, pistons and such. I hear that you have to at 300rwhp. Could I (with no other bottlenecks) run at 290whp all day with that turbo IYO?

In the faq I read at 300whp you need to get a metal headgasket and at 350 it's time for forged pistons...

plus as I'm a college student a blown engine wouldn't be good as I wouldn't be able to work more to get it fixed. 30-40hrs a week and another 20-30 for shcool is enough as it is... any more time spent working and I wouldn't have time for sleep.. or videogames. :)
