i searched a little and could not really find anything..

what would have to be done to put a s15 t28 on a ka?

or same with putting a skyline t28?

is it the same process as the t25 or would it have to be clocked and use a diffferent air inlet?

before you get shafted by the other members. S15 t28s is the same process as putting a sr t25 on your KA just replace the turbo. a skyline t28 is t3 flange so you have to get a t3 flange manifold for your KA.

S15 T28 Bolt on with SR t25 setups:

Skyline T28 = because T3 flanged.

Please search!

Rb26 Skylines use twin T28 that are T2 flanged. They will also not work because:

1. they need to be clocked in a way the wastegate arm is very off center.

2. Sr o2 housings will not work, the skyline has a "compact" 5 bolt flange.

S15 T28 is a nice turbo to around 320whp, and is bolt on, you just need the adapter inlet and outlet on the compressor.

, need the clocking plates for s15 turbo. also t2871r would need clocking plate if you get the one that have small (compressor)intake inlet and outlet.

i think that stupid clocking plate is over priced, if you can get the dimensions of one that's already made then get a thick piece of metal and just cut it out yourself.

It's not that hard to mount a T28 to a ka motor. Use any ebay T28 KA manifold and SR elbow. Everything should like up pretty well, except yhou might have to extend your downpipe a few inches.

Then use Greddy suction kit to bolt up the intake, and a standard SR hotpipe.

True that, t25 & t28=fail for anything more than a fast and furious driving street racer

I agree, if anyone suceeds at FAIL...it would be you Sunny

Just screwing with ya of course. I stand by my opinion of T2 flanges being to small. T3's are ALL over the place in used / cheap form. I think I may actually open up a small side bussiness and convert T2 SSAC mani's over to T3. So people can buy a cheap mani and still use a turbo that doesn't suck.

By the way, I know the GT series turbo's are nice, but they are to expensive IMO for what you get. I can make more power with a T3/TO4 and add a 250 Fogger kit to it with the money I save over the GT series. Or buy a good tune...anything really. See my point?

You're right.

T3 = win

Full-Race Twinscroll manifold + GT35R = Win Win!

I'm also planning to run t28 on my KA. it'll be a DD + a couple of weekends at the track, fast spool = win for me. that and I don't want to build the motor.
