Anybody know the differances between these two motors. What bout that VVT feature, is it the same for both?

The SR20VET comes only in FWD and AWD application to my knowledge.

The DET motor has VVT - Variable Valve TimingThe VET motor has VVL (now called VVTL) - Variable Valve Timing and Lift.

The latter has more advanced technology which helps the lifters lift.

The Sr20vet is suppose to be a rather rare motor...
