just out of curiosity, how much does an s15 sr20det swap into an s13 cost on average? anyone that's done it, just lemme know around how much you spent for just the necessary parts for the swap alone to make it run and if you used the s15 6spd transmission or not. itemized list would be even better.

im just trying to weigh my options about the future of my vert

thanks.

first off, welcome to the world of 240sx and nico. and to answer your question: yes it will swap in and there are plenty of detailed write ups. up on the top right of the page theres a search bar, just type in s15 swap or something along those lines, you'll find em. if you do plan on doing this swap though, plan to spend way more money than if you did an s13 sr20 or even s14 sr20 into an s13. and it's a bunch more work involved. good luck with your search

S14 sr20 IMO is the most cost effective swap with most capability out the box. You get the t28 turbo, 5 speed with speed sensor and vtc. Only thing missing is the bigger injectors but you need a mafs and fuel management anyway for more power so its not that big of a deal.

i agree. s13 redtops a cheap but for a reason. and yeah, s14 is not only best bang for your buck when it comes to sr's but it's also the least amount of work for the most power when it comes down to the law of averages... in my opinion.

All electronics including speedo works, I think I got lucky when the clip comes with bumper to bumper wires. I can even add a working airbag, rear fog lights, power folding door morrors, heated door mirrors, remote door locks, key imobilizer, ABS... since my S13 have non of those features like the S15 do.

Welcome to Nico Cole Yes the transmission will bolt onto the chassis with the S15 transmission cross member, I am not sure about the S13 transmission cross member. But the S13 Drive Shaft wont bolt on.

There are a lot of info about S15 that already been discused as DroptopDrifting mention to you
