Is there any other diff that i can get to make my vvt work besides the s15 diff. So i've been told, there is a sensor on the pumpkin of the s15 diff that is required for the vvt to work.. Any knowledge would help.

You probably mean VSS, vehicle speed sensor.

Are you sure, Because heavy throttle told me i need the sensor in on the pumkin. Even if it is the speed sensor, do you need it for the VTC to work?

no, the speed sensor has nothing to do with the operation of the VTC.

VTC is based off of engine RPM's.

There is no VSS on an S15, the ABS sensor in the rear differential sends a voltage signal to the ABS system and it gets converted from there into a speed signal for the cluster.
