Driveshaft length will be different, youll need the S15 Rear Differential(maybe halfshafts too).

Why would you need the S15 rear diff? Because of the gearing?

The speed sensor on the S15 is in the rear differential.

The speed sensor for the s15 motorset is located in the diff casing (as opposed to the transmission for s13-s14). A Bonus is that the s15 helical LSD is totally saucy if your into grip driving. Definitely not bolt-in though...

BTW s15 diff output stubs bolt up to s13 and s14 axle shafts.

ok so i'm guessing it would just be easier to put the s14 sr20det in? i just really wanted to have a sixth gear. i have an 06 spec v too and i like 6 gears. oh well. other than wireing the sr20 pretty much drops onto the old mounts and everything right. i knoe cooling, intercooler routing and exhaust has to be swapped but thats about it right?

I wouldnt reccomend jumping into the S14 SR into the S13 Chassis unless you are pretty knowledgable OR are gonna send the harness off to be done professionally.

S14 SR into an S14 is direct drop in. The heater core hoses need to be re routed to in the other direction, the upper radiator hose has to go across the front to the other side (unless you have the SR radiator). The wiring harness is pretty simple, if you search it can be done yourself. There are only like 3 wires that need to be spliced. If you want to retain A/C you can reuse the KA pump (3 out of 4 holes to the block line up) which will eleviate the problem of draining the freon and hooking up all the SR A/C stuff to your car. All clutch and drive shaft stuff line up.

well u can get the s15 engine and transmission and diff, and also get ready to spend about 4,000 to 8,000 to get her running right, i think so far i spend about 6.5 maybe more, and for the driveshaft well i made my. i use my old one and i just cut it, and fix it and got it balance. anyways the big problem is if you are looking for horse power "over 320" since nissan didn't make the s15 transmission that strong but if u are will to pay get the transmission rebuild with stronger gears (that was a big thing in japan when i was there since i had friends that where smoking r32 and r33 and others cars like nothing)

The 6-Speed is a weak trans as stated above and even if given a S15 RHD car I would sell it and just buy an S13/14 depending on the chassis putting it into.

if u got any ? just send me and email at jay2002mp@yahoo but for right now i like my advise get s14 engine and with transmission for now since if u looking for power u can spend the extra money later on a better turbo and other upgrades and then get a 6-speed transmission and get her rebuild if want to u dont need the s15 differential since "dakata digital got a box that take your rpms sinals to your speedometer but it is to much pain in the *** since it got to be adjusted to" p.s do your research like that u dont waste your money

For an S15 that is done right the first time it sounds ok to me. I personally would like to see it around 6000 but the S15 is a quirky little beast and requires more work so as long as it runs right afterwards I think the price is fair.

no thats for an s14 sr20det. but lots of extra. i discussed the bare minimum swap was like 5800. but i like go fast much. it should be quite nice once done. i am going in on the 27th to start. ani i bought the cleanest freaking motor i've ever seen. it looked garage kept for real. i should have it back by the first at the latest. i'll post pics and all as soon as it's done
