It's been a while since I posted, but I had the cracked S15 block, but it's fully sleeved and back together and strong as ever. Only problem is I don't remember where the heck the thing goes. It looks like some type of ground but it also look's like a knock sensor or something. Any one happen to know what it it and were I'm suppose to reinstall it?

I will only tell you if you post more pics of your engine... JK

But seriously need pics.

That goes between 2 and 3 cylinder under the intake mani. You should see a flat spot with a threaded hole in the middle of the spot. It screws in there. If you directly under #2 and #3 runner you should see it.

Well i think it's coming back to me now. I was kind of pissed when I pulled it out and didn't pay much attention. I remember where that open bolt is. Remeber this block problem i had. Well it's all back together about 99%. What a project but's going to kick butt now!!!!!

the sensor goes above the oil filter in between #2#3 just before the block meets the head.
