S15 Silvia OEM Steering Wheel Installed...

I have a S14 and had someone swap in the S15 OEM Wheel. Only problem is no HORN or AIRBAG? He said he could not get the horn or airbag to work. So now I have airbag icon blinking in my cluster. Anyone know a way around this so i can keep S15 wheel and have horn and airbag funtioning, otherwise i'd have to sell it....

why would you have to sell it? anyways, just get the wiring diagrams and match them up. The horn is easy enough to test, but there is only one way to test the airbag :-p

There are plenty of cars out there without airbags so what's the problem? As long as you wear your seatbelt thats good enough. I recently installed a Nismo steering wheel on my S14 SE. If you want to get rid of the stupid airbag light then just pull the cluster and take the bulb out. As for the horn you don't need one, that's what you have a middle finger for!

Keep the S15 steering wheel because i'm about to get one myself. I believe the wiring will be pretty simple if you just follow FSM and connect it. As for the air bag....hahahaha only one way is right. Drive carefully, you wouldn't want to kill your precious S14 anyways.

I'll keep S15 oem for a while, reality is I like those shorter in diameter wheels like from MOMO with a quick release, only way to steal the car is with a damn tow truck!! But yeah im so used to using horn for catching ppl in b.s. their driving skills i miss it. Give some1 the bird never done that, i just gotta be more aware of the road i suppse , thanks fellas for the input!

BTW, My S15 wheel has blue stitching?? Typically all i see is RED, u think

this could be off some Spec-R, S or Varietta?
