s15 shift knob question

do you guys know if the lower part of the s15 shift knob can be removed?you can see on the shift knob just the lower part.

reason im asking is i want thisif you look closely at the shift knob they have that s15 bottom spacer on with a different nismo knob. I know this is weird question but im super picky and would like to do this. IF not does anyone know where you can buy those spacers?

Thats not a spacer on the 2 cars your showed. That is used to get into reverse since it is a 6 speed.
