I'm trying to swap in the S15 HLSD, but like many people, can't find the proper Nismo ring gear bolts. I also read about fabricating sleeves or using starter bushings to wrap around the S13 bolt neck.

So one more option is to throw in the S15 ring ang pinion (higher ratio no problem) and use S15 bolts. Has anyone done this? Will they fit right in?

You're still going to have the same problem, the s15 ring gear's holes for the bolts is the same size as the USDM ring gear. You would still need to find 13mm necks for the 12mm bolts.

That being said, I am coming up on 6 months with my HLSD with the OEM 12mm bolts with no issues.

Really? S15 don't use 13mm bolts?

On this page the bolts simply look normal (neck and threaded part have same size). Might these be 12mm bolts used for non-HLSD models then?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
