So I bought a pile of motor and trans and I've yet to figure out if it's a 15 or 14. I don't have the turbo or injectors for it. So is there any other way to tell by the head or block or any markings, numbers, ect that can tell me what I've got?

S15 uses bolts for valve cover - not studs & acorn cap nuts like S14 & S13.

S15 trans has no speed sensor at the back.

So this is s14? I know it has purple injector clips, has wider holes for coil packs as well. Not sure about the turbo, but all of these things tell me it is, when others would tell me it's a s15. Trying to also understand why my odometer doesn't work but speedometer does.
