if i remember right, all the fwd pumps will inter change with each other and all the rwd interchage with each other. the s14 and 15 pumps are higher volume than the s13 because of the VCT, the blocks have an extra oil passage to feed it. i know that a GTi pump is a direct bolt on for g20 and se-r sr20's, and a fwd pump will bolt on a rwd and work. i ran a g20 pump for 3 months untill i could afford a new s13 one. 2 main differences in rwd and fwd, one of the bolts that goes through the head into the pump dosent line up. and the timing marker is off by 10-15 degrees. but everything else bolts up right.
personally i would get the s15 pump out of the 2 so your not guessing at the timming and wont have to worry about oil leaks at the head.
but anyhow if you dont have pressure now theres a problem somewhere that needs to be deturmined first. all the sr pumps are gonna have the same pressure but range in volume output. i never noticed extra pressure after changing from the g20 pump but i do know the s13 one pumps more, the drive gears are thicker. my hot pressures are around 17-20psi at idle and 50-60psi driving. cold pressures are higher around 40 idle and 70 driving. fresh oil are better pressures
