lol..............thats what my question is.slidestyle69 wrote:what is qt and nq?
they are both s15 ecu's. The Qt runs an s15 turbo engine. The Nq turns the fuel pump on and turns over the engine, but doesn't run it.slidestyle69 wrote:lol are these s15 ecu's or ecu's from another motor?
the qt will start the car the nq will notslidestyle69 wrote:thats true, good point. it seems just like when u plug a ka computer up to a sr the fp primes and turns the motor over but wont fire it off.
I was reading back on a couple things you said, the qt ecu wont start the car or have u jus tried the nq.
i just bought another NQ ecu and it runs the sr fine, i guess it was just a bad ecujr_ss wrote:The NQ is most likely an SR20DE ECU, meaning it won't run your car because there are different I/O's from the SR20DET.
ok, thanksjr_ss wrote:You can plug any ECU in to the harness and have the same thing. The starting/charging system are on a completely different circuit then the ECCS...
You can crank a car over all day with the ECU disconnected...
