Well the S15 leather seats I bought finally came in and they look GREAT. You can hardly even tell they're used. I'm going to clean them up a little bit and install them tomorrow. Anyone have any tips or pointers for the install? I've read that they had to be modified a bit to fit the S13, but that the seats pretty much drop right in the S14. Here's some pics of the beauties...

Those are very nice!

I think I saw a set like that on ebay sometime ago. I was tempted to bid.

Wow, those things look great. Congrats on getting them. I can't wait to see what they look like installed, I assume the rest of your interior is black as well.

Thanks for all the feedback on the seats. Glad to see everyone likes them as much as I do Yeah, I'm the guy that won them off ebay a week or two ago. Seller was real nice and only took about a week for them to arrive at my front door. I'll be installing them this weekend, along with my carbon fiber dash kit, redline leather products, JDM Z32 shift knob, and maybe even my S15 steering wheel Busy, busy, busy...

Oh yeah...my factory seats and carpeting are gray, but I'm thinking about getting some charcoal replacement carpet from this site: http://www.autoupholsterykits.com/carpet.html

Anyone have any experience with them?

if you don't mind me asking, but how much did you land them for?

and how much better do they feel over the S14 seats?

I know S13 seats fit 95-96 S14's so you may still need to modify them to fit. Nice seats though

Ooo another S13-S15 seats swap. I have the regular S15 seats (which still rock because I do not have to brace myself with my left leg during hard cornering).

The only modification (quite simple) is that the passenger side front holes will not line up correctly yet. They are angled wider because that is how the S15 floor pans are shaped like, but none the less thy do line up after a small modification. What you will need to do is line up the rear holes, and the fronts will sit on an elevated bar on the floor pan. Slide the seat back, and with a hammer, gently pound the tabs so that they fit flush onto the holes. Then VOILA!!! S15 seats without the pain of purchasing or fabricating your own frame rails.

The internet website did not show this step, I guess it is assuming that you know what to do. I hope this helps and S15 seats rock!!!

Spanish ricer I just got a molded carpet from there. It is awesome, way better than I expected. There was a group buy going on for 240's. Give them a call a.s.a.p. and they might be able to hook you up with the group buy. Good luck.Josh

Great looking seats. My friend bought a pair recently and I didn't think they were S15 seats, looks like they are. He also got them for dirt.

WOW, those are slick....

I'm not sure which I like better, those or the regular ones.

Another former Prelude owner. Nice 5th gen, and welcome.

Thanks for all the compliments on the seats guys. I'm about to start swapping the seats out, so I'm glad to hear the install isn't too much of a pain. I'll take pics after everything is said and done, maybe do my dash kit too.

Oh, and that's not my bed A couple of ol' air force buddies were in town last weekend and I had to roll out the air mattresses. Just too lazy to put them back up
