Alright so i was looking into getting a clutch type LSD but then i found out about the s15 helical LSDs. I understand that you have to have a R200 diff housing to fit it into but what else do you need? I know shims to make the spider gears line up right but is that it?

p.s. (if anyone has an LSD for sale lmk please)

That is about it, but you will need a tube of sealer for when you put the rear cover back on, and depending on the age of your car, you might want to consider installing new side shaft seal while you have it apart.

By the way, the shims are for adjusting the ring gear in relation to the pinion gear (final drive gears) The spider gears are the little gears inside your stock open diff.I have both S15 & viscous LSDs in stock.

Just a word to the wise,Don't buy either if they do not include the matching shafts.I see so many people getting the shaft (with out the vasaline) when they buy one with out shafts, just to find out that the stock shafts are too small to fit the S15, and that the stock right side shaft is too short to work in the viscous. The viscous needs an extra long shft because the viscous coupling unit is on the left side of the diff, and it takes a special long shaft to cross over the center to engage it. With out the special long shaft, the viscous coupling is not hooked up to the right wheel, and thus never acts like an LSD.

Importer - Are you the seller from San Antonio that has these on Ebay? I'm seriously considering going with a S15 HLSD for my '98 SE w/o stock VLSD. I've found post after post confirming that it will drop in as long as I have the shafts you mentioned. Is this correct?

Thanks!
