yeah bro your going to need the bonnet, front bumper, side fendrs, wrinkle kit, and headlight harness which, ifi order from takakaira.com, will run you $1,524 if the person knows what they are doing...oy yeah did i mention the installation cost?...this is why i didn't do it for the money i'll go for performancesxse wrote:What are you going to do with just the headlights? Don't you need the fenders and hood and bumper before you can do anything.
are you sure about that...http://www.optauto.com/webstor...t=486SRdS14 wrote:if you plan on spending only 500 bux on the s15 headlights, i guarantee you you won't find them...unless they're cracked. then they might be 500~Scott
the cheapest i've ever seen them was 700. option's website
yeah man correctly if im wrong but wouldn'tit cost more to have all that done costum b/c they'll have to supply thier own parts and also if the they mess up which will become a higher % b/c of the costum partsDaunttless wrote:Also, in regards to the "shaving," not really AZN, the lines don't match up properly.
SilviaLuvr wrote:i agree wingzero like i said for the money i'll go wit performance...i really like the 97/98 front ends there nasty as hell...when i was in philly wit some friends we seen a 97/98 sx wit the "skyline" bodykit (i think) advan racing version 2 rims he had graphics (hmmm...ok thats -2) and he didn't have a sr no he didn't have a turbo b/c i seen no cooler but still a sweat a$$ car
Daunttless wrote:Well, the hood lines don't match up, the mounting points on the bumper are different, the fenders won't line up with the new bumper, the fenders don't line up with the headlights, hmm, I think thats about it.
(sorry to have to flame ya) but are you high are just that stuipd ok theres no way in hell someone is going to fabricate the s15 headlights to the fenders second off if they were trying to accomoplish such a task they would need the exact measurements from one headlight to the next there are no preset measurments since the 89-94's are pop up and the s15' s are not teh s15 are also bigger then the 89-94 pop-ups in all you'll most likely end up paying more on costum work then the actual kitAznRide wrote:daunt...what lines don't match up? If i just get the full bodykit, can't I just cut them to make it fit the siliva headlights (s15)? The kit that came with S15 ready, it's just like they precutted it right? Either way, someone has to shave it right? Anyways, I was refering to the 89-94 240sx with s15 front. But I wish I can afford a 95 up 240.
