I am looking into the S15 lights/front conversion... I know there are S15's with HID, I found some lights on Courtesyparts.com and they have just the lights for like $280, but if they make the s15 lights with an HID kit, id rather go for that... there are a lot of places here in houston that can get lights and motors, and parts, but most of them dont know what they have until the shipment gets here, and theyve been on the lookout for S15 lights with HID and being that they havent gotten any im starting to wonder if they even exist... and if i do just get the s15 lights and bulbs, how do i get them to WORK, my friend had a hard enough time hooking up his s15 lights to his 95 (and thats duck-taping **** on there) I refuse to rig up my lights, and im pretty sure ill catch hell trying to get those lights to connect on my s13... any inspiring words!?..

ive seen s15 headlights with the hid on ebay so they do exist. from my understanding, there is a space in the back of the headlight to hold the hid ballasts.

I'm planning on doing the s15 conversion to my 91 240sx my self. What's HID in the first place? Also, 600 bucks for a couple of headlights plus the body kit and hood u gotta get the headlights to fit it??? thats damn expensive? u guys are all rich??? I work but make like 1000 a month (i'm in college) it'd take like 6 months to get that money since I gotta pay off my bills and like going out.

I go to college as well, I have my own apt., and I have a lot of pretty little things that cost a lot of money... (including my car) I also work 48 hours a week.... the money I make is spent on what I enjoy, and I enjoy building my car... so yeah.. 600 bucks is expensive, but i dont do shiznitz at my job, im a manager at IHOP, I sit on my as all night long playing games on my phone... and im getting paid a good salary... I pay the bills, pay for school, and save money.. ive had my car for over a year now, and all the money ive set aside for the car is prepared to be spent WILLINGLY.... so I understand what youre saying, I said all that last year when B-series hondas were the "shiz" ...so yeah it might take you 6 months to do what you want... but patience is a virtue, and when the final result gets out the garage and paint shop... you'll see why you went through all of that, then drink martini's and enjoy lounging in your "SILVIA"... its worth it... ive driven my friends 95 with the S15 front clip... the car is 14 different colors, but it STILL got A LOT of attention.... imagine what my droptop black cherry pearl slivia will look when im done.... basically NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES... DO WHAT YOU WANT.... IF IT MAKES YOU HAPPY... GO FOR IT....

The HID ones are well over $1000 and are illegal. They are wicked bright, and point directly to the oncoming triffic. The ones that everyone are buying are the regular halogen ones, and you can find those at underground, coutesy etc. etc. the price on coutesy nissan is for one headlight, and not for the set. nissan Japan knows that they are illegal in the States, and will not, to my knowledge, sell to dealers that they know will ship them off to the States. That's the reason you don't see a whole lot of them here for sale.
