jsut wondering what your guys opnions were....oem steel s15 fenders vs prf stuff that everyone else sells

i know that the oem fenders are kinda heavy which is sucky....but it would be kinda nice to not have to worry about anyhting breaking them...you could jsut pop a dent out and touch up with some paint.

let me know what you al think

I dont know if stock fenders would work for such a conversion.

Usually the fenders you get have to have a S14 bolt configuration on a S15 fender, I.E. a custom made fender.

Do you get what I mean?

OH, ok i got it......hmmm. they would bolt up to the radiator support correctly i assume...but what else wouldn't line up? think it would be possiable to fashion some brackets to adapt them to the s14?

The Silvia S15 Feders will bolt onto your S14 no problem, but where the problem comes from is the body lines. The S15 is shaped differntly then the S14 so it will not flow. The Door lines wount match and there will be a gap where the fender meets the A-Pillar. Its kinda hard to eplain without pictures, but the aftermarket fenders everyone sells for the conversion are Hybrid fenders half S15 (front part) mated with the S14 fenders (rear part).

well if you have the VIS conversion you have their fenders too. I also have their fenders and they fit mildly like poo. If you want to fix it you'll have to more ($300) and then modify them to fit perfectly. People say suck up and buy the MASA or SWAAT fenders for upwards of $600 or more but I also hear those require modification to fit too.

You dont have any pictures of what you have to work with do you? If you notice in my sig I am practicaly done with my conversion, factory bumper, facotry HIDs, Carbon fiber hood, and Masa conversion fenders. Its not that much work.

dude, i jsut said that the guy who owned the car before me did the conversion......if it were up to me i woulda kept the car entirely stock. but the engine was already installed and i got a pretty good deal. and since its installed minds as well keep it. i jsut wanted to know if oem fenders would work with little to no modification which has been pointed out that they will not and require a good deal of body modification....so i guess i'll be going with the masa fenders and oem front....now......

where can i get a good deal on the oem s15 front and masa fenders?and is the s15 front inercooler friendly, i'm running a pretty big hybrid ic so that minght be an issue....

It can be done if you know how to weld or do fiberglass work.
