A lot of people may not like em, but Im just looking at options cause I really dont like the "pig nose". Has anyone tried to do an S15 conversion on a RB swaped S13? Im just wondering if it would run into any problems like maybe the cross over intake stoping the hood from closing or the new radiator support in the way or something like that.

You have to cut into the frame for the head lights if you do not have brackets. Also, make sure that someone takes thier time with installation and check what materials your fenders and front bumper are made out of. I have an 89 HB with an RB25DET installed and the only prob i have is a need to make new IC PIPE. Mine runs on the left hand side. And it's a pain with you put a front mount because you only have soo much space to install anything. and installation hardware. nuts bolts rubber washers. Mine looks like crap because it was in a drifting accident but before it was solid and nice. Any more questions just ask.

HCI did a step by step on this in one of the recent magazines. That may help you out. That magazine is pretty much crap, but they have some good pics of how to do it.

I have a S15 conversion on my S14 with Rb25DET. I dont know if any other person has the same problem as I did, but the hood didn't fit. So I had to raise the rear of the hood with spacers. Maybe its the design of the scoop in the carbon fiber hood---Jun style.

thats why you see people with pics of hood pins. instead of using the normal hood latch.
