Doluck makes some fenders for the S15, they look a little cooler than the normal strawberry face fenders. I was wondering if I could use these fenders on an S14, as part of my s15 conversion. They are also cheaper than the fenders normally used in this conversion. I found these fenders at autoimaging.com.

Also, could any S15 hood bolt on directly to a S14 body? That is if you have the correct fenders and front bumber of course. I dont like the look of a carbon fiber hood too much, but I found a few for S15s and they werent that expensive, can they be painted over?

I havent seen anyone do a S15 tail light conversion yet. Ive found a site that actually sells the tails, so I was wondering how hard the process would be. As far as parts go, all Id need is the tails and an S15 rear bumper, right? It looks like the trunk lid would need to be modified to accomodate the new tails, thats where it might get interesting.

I think thats enough questions for now, haha. Thanks ahead of time for the replies.

Fenders: No, you can't use them unless you plan on doing custom work. If you want to do custom work then you can use them.

Hood: No, the hood does not bolt on, you need brackets, hinges, and latches as well. Yes, carbon fiber can be painted

S15 Tail: Thats all custom, the entire rear end would need to be modified to accomodate the lights.

Anything else?

Enjoy your day.

I dunno... I'll be happy with the kit as it comes, throw a wing on there and some rims and my exterior work it done! :fruit

I would suggest side skirts and a rear bumper to go with the S15 conversion, the aftermarket bumper is lower on the S15 so you need the side skirts and rear bumper to make everything flow. : )

Yeah, your absolutly right. I might go with the Nismo S15 front bumper. Not sure what side skirts yet, and I may go with the Nismo S15 rear or the C-West S15 rear, not sure on that yet. The tail light conversion might have the car in the shop a while but it would be worth it to me. But yeah, i wasnt just going for a front end conversion with no body kit, that would be hella riced out.

So, the doluck fenders arent a bolt on application like the strawberry face fenders, that sucks. Oh well, might just go with the strawberry fenders, and the JUN fender flares.

So, any S15 hood will fit, with the proper mounting accessories, thats good to know.

Dauntless, do you peice out your conversion kit? Really all I need is the head lights, strawberry fenders, core support, and clear side markers. If so i'll hit you up when the time comes.

Thanks for the replies.

Nope, currently I don't piece out my kit. However, I may have other parts and pieces laying around eventually, it wouldn't be cheap though.

Headlights are like 1k.Fenders are like 600, easy.Core Support is several hundred.Side Markers are several hundred.

Not a bad price on the fenders. Less than 375 for the core support would be kick a$$. Thanks for the help dude, when I get ready to do the body work I'll see what you got layin around.

Well, all my stuff is brand new as well. You might be able to find the lights for like 900 used. : )

So, what about the tail light conversion? How hard would it be? I figure if Im gonna have an S15 front end and an SR20DET why not go all out and have an S15 rear end too.

An aftermarket S15 rear bumper would fit on an S14 right? With the proper tail light modifications of course. I just need to know if it can be done. Some S15 tails, an S15 rear bumper, alot of surgery, and a little fiber glass should do the trick hopefully.

Heh, you'll need new bumper supports, also, I don't think that the tail ends are the same width, so you'll run into problems there. You'll need a lot of fiberglass, a lot of cutting, and I don't think the stock trunk will work because of the size of the taillights. You're more than welcome to try it though, I don't think anyones done it yet, but theres probably a reason for that. : )

Ahhh well, I might do a little more research on the topic. I would like to modify the rear in some way other than an after market rear bumper. Im thinking maybe leave the left and right tail lights stock, and just shave the center section and paint it to match the rest of the body. I havent seen that done yet. Then theres the ever popular supra tail light conversion, it didnt look bad, just seems a little out of place. Just out to be different.
