Hi I am going to be purchacing the s15 conversion for my 91 240sx very soon. (from Extreme Dimentions) Before I do I just wanted to find out a few things:1) how hard is it to do this conversion?2)the lights dont come with mounting bracktets, how hard will it be to mount the lights to the 240? what will I need to do?3)is it possible to do this conversion with out bringiing the car to a body shop? Is it going to be like a body kit install because one of my friends has installed a body kit B-4 and hes going to help me.

Thanks for the help guys!

I'm not really sure, but this is my understanding:

1) not directly bolt-on, requires a little work2) probably should get some mounting brackets, shouldn't cost too much. Might be generic ones available somewhere?3) Doubt it'll be anything like a body kit. You are taking apart the front half of your car. Doesn't that mean new hood, fenders, bumper, et al?

I think if you are decently intelligent you could pull it off, dunno how well though. Someone else will probably have a better answer for you, but I think it requires some custom work to fit right...

oh, and definately tell us how it goes!:D

you have to buy s15 hood hinges for the s13=>s15 conversion. http://www.jspec.com/s15hoodhinge.htmlHeadlight brackets have to be fabricated.

Does any one know how hard it is to fabricate the headlight brackets? Is there any special mounting for the fenders and bumper or will it bolt on?

Thanks

you have to get aftermarket fenders but i suggest just getting a full conversion kit (still wont come with headlight brackets though...)i dont know about fabricating brackets but im guessing its not too hard.

Dude, you are putting a completely different front end on your car, it ain't gonna be easy. Search the web. do the research. How could you plan on dumping 3-5k (or whatever it costs) on something you don't even know that much about?
