The conversion is not as bad as you think. Depending on parts you use.Intensepower.comIf you're doing it yourself get:S15 OEM Steel FendersS13 Headlight support bracketsS15 Urethane Bumper OEMS15 HeadlightsS15 Hood (mine is seibon OEM style)S15 or S14 Hood Hinges (240sx won't fit without cut/weld/fabricate)

If you have plenty of cash and know a bodyshop experienced enough get whatever styles/kits you like. You can see much better with S15 headlights than the old pop outs. Please be sure to use the button

CF hood is great.

Its OEM Styled, but instead of heavy *** metal, it's very light.http://phase2motorsports.store....html

Thanks KiLo64 for posting the pics, and I am still having a hard time posting pics here at NICO; not like back then was easy. That picture says CUT AND FOLLOW THE RED LINE. I request people that when they send me the S13 fender; I just wanted that part to cut it for me, so that they can save some shipping & handling cost. So in reality thats not the way to cut it, and weld it with the S15 fender.

My idea was the one pictured by KiLo64 that is finished which my own car. You can see how the weld goes, and which tells you how I cut it. This was the first fender I did. Now sice I've been doing many of them also HONDA's as well. I ended up doing a better job, and detailed rather than my first fender. =)

S13.5 and S14.5 are the basically the same you cut the back section and weld the 14 to the 15 fender to line up with the door and bolts undercar.

I need to get a hold of another pair of s13 fenders to cut up so I can do it this way. Alot easier than my way it looks like.RPS13.5 I have a question. After you cut the S15 fender and the 240sx fender how do you get it so straight so when you weld, it's not crooked?Do you connect the 2 pieces to the car and clamp them and tack weld while on the car? Also what is purpose of those marks on the hood and fender? Is that to line up the S15 fender before or after the cut?Need more info on the process please

Sory for the late reply; I know you guyz are excited =)...

OK, if anyone can get it cut & weld in your local area for less than $200 plus shipping thats what I normally charge, or if you can do it by your self "WHY NOT". And I can share my work here only at NICO how I did the conversion. But FYI I can do it for you for the best job I can do which you can see anyway. Normally for NOR CAL locals I do charge $250 - $300. Depending if its S13.5, S14.5, or S14 to R33. Also I do Honda US to JDM ITR & Del Sol to CTR Radiator Core swap, and most import front end conversion $400 - $500 installed email me for details at [email protected]. All of this you have to provide your own parts, and paint job.

I am still having problems with posting pictures, I don't know why did it this way.

For your questions Tr0uble:YES! You have to mount both cut fenders on the car before you do the welding. The S13 cut fender is bolt on anyway to hold it up for welding. make shure two bolt on the bottom, I think two or three bolts next to the door. For the S15 cut fender you have to CLAMP on the top to the chassis. Make shure all the edges and spacing between DOOR, HOOD, and Headlights match the right spot before welding. Thats why I have the marks on the fender and hood to make shure they dont move while welding. This way it should be straight, and requires skill for welding. Also I am using MILLER TIG welder.

I've not but as the rule of thumb;if it aint cheap fb crap then hopefully it'll line up and fit right.

I believe Origin isn't cheap fb. Just keep in mind that when it comes down to s13.5 conversion fenders , don't cheap out.

The way that the molds are made the tabs that bolt it to the car are intentionally bent in unmountable positions because if they didn't you wouldn't be able to get the fender out of the mold. So you have to break it and re-fiberglass it. To get it perfect.I made s13.5 metal fenders and they came out nice.

I actually only needed to use the top half of the S15 core support.

If you change the core support you will have problems mounting your radiator. You will have to make brackets to hold the radiator in place because the stock brackets will no longer fit.Using S15 Core SupportPros:- ease in mounting headlights- designed to allow fenders to bolt directly to core supportCons:- very difficult to remove top half of core support. even more difficult to remove the whole thing. requires air/power tools and welding.- problems with hood closing, alot of adjustments have to be made to get the hood to close properly.- if you remove the whole s13 support you will run into problems with the tensioner rods not reaching.

If I had to do it all over again I would do the 180sx headlight brackets in my opinion. It might be a little difficult to get the headlights perfect. You have to cut a hole in the headlight support area of the s13 core support. Not that difficult with a dremel.

As for fenders I would make the metal ones. The cost to have the fiberglass ones fitted to the car will burn a whole in your pocket.Driving on the highway with the force of the wind on the front bumper cover will cause stress cracks on the fiberglass fenders.

I actually got a deal on all the parts with s15 core support so I went that route. At the time the 180sx headlight brackets were on back order and I didn't feel like waiting...
