i have a stock s14sr with z32 maf... fmic with 3" catback. Do i need to have a tune done?

Youll need an SAFC or some sort of fuel management to have the car run well at all.

buy a wideband and a safc and tune it yourself...your prolly running rich

Yes. And reason being, the z32 maf has a different voltage range than the stock maf. The ecu will see the wrong voltage all the time (never run correctly). You need the safc to do a maf voltage conversion.

Why are you running a z32 maf ?

thats what i got with the swap. would i be better off with a sr maf

yeah just get a stock sr one..otherwise you'll have to get a safc
