s14SR timing chain problem

hey guys i have a big problem with my timing chain. at least im sure its the timing chain. its hitting on the inside of the motor as u can see in the picture. i cirlced where its scraping cus when its running its very loud and i can hear it knocking and hitting against the sides. the chain is very nice and tight it is not loose so i dont think that it strectched out. any help would be great because im out a car right now. need to figure this out.

yeah pretty tough to tell where it's rubbing at that angle. I'm assuming it's where the chain is coming right off of the guide and it hits the head?

When can you hear it? All the time, only on cold start up. Im having the same problem w/ one of my SR's. Let me know in more detail b/c Im talking to some people about this.

If the chain is thight and there is no play i dont see how it could be the chain. Unless your tensioner is bad. Did u recently uninstall the tensioner??? There are some O rings on it that need to be replaced.

Have you checked the guides to see if taht is the problem???
