okay I would like anyone to give me a streight up answer or just best answer these little questions. I am only an apprentice with toyota for only a month so I have ALOT to learn. I currently have a 93 240sx se so its got the ka24de. With this info i bought a 96ka24de(s14) long block. It does not have the intake or exhaust man. It also does not have the distributor. Here are some questions:

-can my s13 manifold bolt on with the s14 engine?-is the upper timing chain cover interchangeable?-if so, can you use an s13 distributor?-does the s13 power steering pump bolt on to the s14 engine?

These are just a few questions. I am not familiar with the nissan product quite yet but I am eager to learn as I am a 240sx enthusiast. And if you are just going to bash my questions dont bother waisting your time. Thanks to all who will contibute!!!!

the only thing different from the s14 and s13 motors IIRC is the cams, headers, MAF, and the valve cover bolts are different.

Coil is aslo different, internal as apposed to the s13's external, to skip all this wiring you can just ase an external coil.....
