ok, we are working on a s14, and we compared the two throttle bodies and the ka one is bigger, has anyone ever put the ka on the sr20 and is it worth it?

measurements? bore diameter? difference in bore diameter from inlet to outlet? model year from which you got the TB? Need more info!

There is a lengthy reply with several links to info about TB size, and also people who have switched to KA trottle body. AND a link to the Tomei 70mm TB.

Shoot us some more info about the two throttle bodies if you could.:D

I did it on my SR, you have to re-wire the TPS but if your even 1/10 competent that shouldn't be an issue. As far as HP gains I can't really tell you, I did the same thing on my CA (just bolts up onto that motor) and it seemed to help a little but I don't have any proof other than seat of the pants.

I also use the ka maf. You wont notice ahuge difference but it does increase the flow.

I think you mean throttle body, not MAF.

oops. ya the ka tb. Ya I also dont think jwt took that into consideration on my ecu and Iv'e always had a hesitation until about 30 % throttle then it goes away mostly. A little still there.
