aright how about this one [couldnt find anything in the search]. im arguing with a friend about doin the silvia front end swap on my 90 hatch or leaving it alone. personally, i like the pop up headlights, but he thinks a sileighty is the way to go. [dont get me wrong, i LOVE sileightys but im thinking money wise] the discussion went on for a whilke and then i said: if i were to do a front end conversion, it'd have to be the S14a front end. then i realized that ive never really seen one of those before. ive seen a s14/s13 conversion, but not an s14a/s13 swap. i messed with some pics in photoshop and it doesnt look too bad, but id rather see some real pics. anyway, what do you guys think? would it rock :ylsuper or flop??

I think it would be nice looking. I know I've seen it before, unless I was halucinating, looked good.

I agree with you on that one. I laugh when I see all these Nissan parts on honda's and the like. I just think if you like the look of a Nissan so bad, why didn't you save yourself the trouble and buy a Nissan. But hey, what do I know.

Those Hondas are sacrilege to the S14 Kouki front end.As for the S13, I'd like to see a pic first aswell because just picturing it in my mind doens't always work that well... =\

Wow look **yet** another person that agrees with me.

btw, I really don't think the s14a front end would work too well on the hatch...I'd personally go with the S15, or S13.

Well the S15 is a given because just looking at it gives any straight man insta-wood, but if it looks good, the kouki on an S13 would be cool just for the originality factor....

ive looked everywhere, havent really found any more actual conversions. guess its not that popular. i always liked the body kits for the s14a front end. this would gimme the best of both worlds.

these conversions have been done before in japan. They can look pretty nice if done right. I used to have some pictures, let me see if i can find them. Ofcourse they probably make conversion kits for it in japan. You would have to custom fit the s14 front on unless you could source the conversion.

Doesn't Signal Auto called the Drifter X its a 180sx with a S15 front end though (I think it looks better). Their is a site i think its importfan.com that will have S15 front end conversion soon.

I think the s14 face is too wide for S13, made it looks nose-heavy, may look better with some rear wide fenders I guess...

You mean 'coupe' right....

And it doesn't look THAT bad I guess...I still prefer the Sileighty or the s15 conversion.

I know everyone's seen this before but I just figured that I'd do a search on the forums and pull this one out of the archives.
