:help I came here to seek help on a 1995 Nissan 240SX. My plans are to convert it to look like the 1998 model but I do not know what parts are required and the procedures. So far I've been told I'll be needing the: headlights, hood, fenders, bumper. Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

I don't think he did... the other thread is authored by someone else. Plus he only has 1 post in his post count.

Hood, bumper, fenders, headlights, side markers, blinkers(maybe not), and grill piece is all that shold be needed.

unless you can find the parts pre painted in your color, or are doing it yourself, it is a fairly expensive mod that i dont think is worth it, of course i like the 95-96 more then the 97-98, but thats me =) probably looking at atleast 1000 + paint (maybe more, but i guess it depends on where u get them, most likely someone here has done the swap), im sure you could install them yourself. maybe consider the s15 conversion? something much more rare in the US and you might like the look more? it will probably be a little more expensive though, you would have to get these parts new where you might find the 98 parts used.

this is the actual s15, so just imagine the front end of this on your car =)

I have a 97 kouki and as ive read the panels are a direct bolt on into the zenki (95-96) You can probably go to a nissan dealer and tell them what youre trying to do and they can more than likely help you out with the parts list.

I can't believe this isn't archived somewhere on here, it is everywhere else. You need hood, fenders, bumper, bumper support, headlights, corner lights, grille. The core support is different, but only in that there are holes behind the headligths to access the bulbs. The headligths also use different bulbs so you'll need the connectors for them, which are not available through the dealer. You'll need to cut them off a salvage car somewhere.

If your cars are different in the states I know that the tail lights are also different on the Early S14 and the Late S14's here in Japan. If you are trying to make your car look like the Kouki...this would be one detail you might over look.....

Budy of mine had a gorgeous Kouki but it's actually a Zenki with the full conversion.

Ceptos makes a good point. Trying to salvage all the parts from a dealer wil lbe expensive, and you may not be able to locate all parts. Then you need to paint and install, no gaurantee all parts will line up. Probably better off getting the S15 conversion, much more rare, and it comes in a kit will all the necessary parts needed for a bolt on. This is the cheapest place I have located the kit, but haven't searched lately, so it may be cheaper somewhare else.

Oh, all the honda boys are putting the silvia s15/kouki kits on their civics and integras, Apparently there is a bolt on kit for their rides now, piss me off!!

Yeah, i know! Thats kinda stupid. I was kinda always against making a car look like a totally different make of car. But CMON. Civic to Sivlia? And the JDM conversion for the integs look good enough anyway. Man, thats cheating. :bash
