lets take a Zenki Model.....Pop the hood up and take out only the headlights but not the clear corners....leave them there

ok....now if i take the kouki projectors and put them in there and close the hood there will prolly be some space in between......so.....if i change the hood with a Kouki Hood and then leave the lights with Zenki corners and the Kouki Headlights will it close correctly?

i know there will be a prob with the way it looks, but will the hood close securely without mods?

i got some ideas for headlights maybe using morrettes from a subaru...or modding some hella H4's and making a housing for it out of CF but not sure yet....just wannt try out some ideas....

anyone got creative with there S14 headlights?

I have heard of s14 zenki utilized the projector headlights from a e46 M3 and used a Q45 Hid. dunno if that helps...i personally own a s14 zenki. i would not know if the m3 projectors bolt right on or work must be applied???

I saw a 95/96 with headlights that looked like 92/93 integra headlights (I had one so that's the closest I can compare them too)...they went straight across and I didn't notice a hood filler or 'frame' around them...

It looked almost as good as the angry eyes.

Anyone know what conversion that was?

There was someone on here awhile ago that was working fitting projectors in the zenki lights. It would be nice if we had something like that. I think the lines of the Zenki fits the car better than the Kouki, so if we could just make our lights a little nicer but keep the same shape...

It's been done. Joe Cho at super autobacs here in stanton CA has a zenki s14 custom fitted with bmw e46 projectors. I talked to him about it and he says that if you align them just right they fit perfectly and you can even adjust them! The looked pretty crazy. he also said that he can do this for other people. the e46 units cost ~$400 each plus whatever labor he will charge so probably around $1000 or so. Just don't crash after you get them! He also says there is a clear coat on the headlights when they are new and that to protect it wash them with water. Don't use anthing acidic or basic or the clearcoat will come off and the headlights will turn yellow. I will go back and take pictures and post them on this thread.

To the thread starter: No, that won't work. Infiniti J30 headlights, however, do work and look sick, with some trimming to the hood. I am in the process of converting to kouki after an accident. I must say, the glass kouki headlights are far superior to the cheapo plastic zenki ones, and the lowbeam projector area of the lens is completely clear. What I interested in doing next is installing an HID system. I am researching the possibility of using H1 HID system from another model car to save $. Does anyone know if any other HID equipped cars use an H1 lowbeam?

I'd be interested in seeing those pictures.
