I just completed installing a complete front and rear z32 conversion on my S14. I installed z32 front and rear calipers, rotors, & pads. In the rear I also did the Z32 e-brake conversion with R33 cables. I also installed a new Z32 brake Master cylinder from FRsport. The only problem i'm having is the bleeding process. I didn't bench bleed the master cylinder. I tried bleeding the brakes 3-4 times and I also bleed the master cylinder at least 3 times. The problem i'm having is that I build pressure but after letting the brake sit for a minutes and when I got to hit the brakes the pedal goes to the floor after the second pump I build pressure. The only thing that I think might be the problem is that I didn't bench bleed the master cylinder and I also found that I installed the rear calipers backwords with the bleeder valve on the bottom. I believe that is my problem but can anyone confirm this? I haven't had a chance to bleed the brake system again since I switched the rear caliper to the correct position. Can anyone confirm that with the rear caliper installed backword that I will never get all the air out of the system.

Thanks,Dan

ya prob your prob... when the bleeder is on top the air in the lines goes to the top of the caliperand escapes when you bleed... with the bleeder on bottom, air goes up inside the caliper and does not escape...

also when bleeding try bleeding from the wheel farthest away from the master... ex rt rear then left rear then right front and finaly left front

hope this helps

good luck

Also a good idea to jack up the car in order to make the master cylinder level. It's easy enough to just disconnect the lines of the master and bleed it on the car as long as the master is level.

Make sure all bleeders are on top otherwiser you will never get the air out.

Great conversion. I did it on my car and I'm really happy with it.
