S14 Worth It?

I found a S14 with 119,000 miles and he selling for 3k but it has rust, and small damage:also he said i need to change the rear brakes its down to the metal,and also the chin lip is damagedits has pretty clean interior tho... do you think its worth it?

Looks pretty rough IMO, but 3K is not bad i think. Although i wouldn't personally buy a car with rust. Rust is like car cancer, so im sure theres more. Did you check the underside of the car out??

$3k for an S14 is a good deal, especially if it's a 5spd.

That looks like surface rust to me, nothing terribly serious. Just sand it out, and then rivet on huge flares!

I would start at $2500 and see what happens. Looks like its not that bad but worse than my S13.

that rust could be fixed in a day of just sanding that down and repainting it.

The rear brakes... Thats like 30 bucks if its just the pads.

Id go for it. drop another grand in it and you will have a really nice s14

If it's an SE model w/ a 5spd I say go for it. Otherwise, try and make it drop the price to 2500...

as said before, if it's SE w/5spd, buy it already.

If it's base, offer $2500 and use the problems as your reason.
