I have a set of free works vs-xx that i am currently awaiting to put on my car. I am wondering what size of spacers i will need to fit these specifications. I checked out rim tuck and found that i WILL need spacers im just not sure how big, and if i should get extended studs?

Rears 18x9.5 +45Fronts 18 x 9.0 +38

Also any input on tires would be appreciated. I am wanting to run 235/35/18.

THanks

spacers that large will more than likely be bolt-on meaning no need for extended studs(though i could be wrong) and yes to roll on all 4 corners and maybe a pull

The studs should sit exactly flush with the face on the 30mm bolt-on spacers.

The studs will purtrude out about 10mm through the face of the 20mm bolt-on spacers though. Hopefully, there is a little niche or space for the excess studs in the back of your wheels to allow the wheel to sit flush on the surface of the spacer. Some wheels have those little spaces in them and some don't...

If your wheels don't have that little space, you may have to grind down or trim your stock studs to fit... which is always IMO. This is why I don't like wheels that need spacers...

yeah i figured it would be something along those lines. The rims are just getting repaired right now. I might just get em back and sell them after i clean them up a bit and then get something that doesnt require another 300$ in spacers, chance of screwing up my fenders if i roll them myself and the tires i would have to play around with.

I'll probably go with some enkie RPF-1 and powerder coat them white

oh well the rims were free so i will just get rid of them for more than i got them fixed. ill throw them up on nico here in a few weeks but i doubt someone will want to pay for shipping from canadathanks for the input i appreciate it.

Exactly why I try to warn ppl about cheap or used wheels. Having the buy spacers negates the price advantage so pic offsets carefully. But those sizes should fit Lexus SC300 or Honda S2000 pretty good.

But just check the back of your wheels for those little spaces before you sell them... GL!
