1996 240sx 151,000miles M/T

Alright first off YES there is spark AND Fuel.

For the past month or 2 it would shut off on me while i was driving and the only way it would start/run again would be if my friend came and jumped my battery, but the battery is fine, and my alt is still good.

I have checked all fuses they are all still good.

Now my car wont start, when i turn the key it you can hear it want to start but it never does. i have no clue what it could be. Any help?

Also the MAF was changed about a year ago so im not sure thats the problem and when my old one was bad the car still ran (it just jerked back and fourth all the time).

Thanks for reading. PLEASE HELP

check CAS and pull the cover off of your dist. see if there is oil in there you might have a leak clogging the optical

i dont know if the starter is bad, would that cause my car to shut off while it was already on/driving?

when the car was on last, i rev'ed up my motor a little and the headlights got brighter when i did that, i was told if that were to happen it means the alt. is still good. should i take it out and get it tested? just to double check?
