S14 with S13 SR20DET won't start

I had Nissan look at her and they couldn't figure it out. The car pops the IGN fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay when I try to start it. When I replace the fuse everything fine in the Accessory position but when I go to start it the fuse pops before it even tries to crank the car. I've pulled the dash trying to find where the problem is but can't track it down. Interior lights, wipers, windows etc work but then when the fuse pops the wipers, windows and Viper alarm don't work. The alarm was installed professionally so it shouldn't be an issue since everything was checked on it but Nissan and it was fine. The remote start was removed from the equation. I just can't figure out what's going on. It was raining and I was driving in it for a few hours and then all of a sudden the wipers, speedo, tach and engine stopped all at once. The outside and inside lights still worked along with the hazard lights so I have no idea what's causing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me crazy. The battery has been checked as well...thanks!
