So the main wiring harness is disconnected from the engine and ECU. Now what I can't see, is that the harness goes through the firewall just on the drivers side of the heat/AC blower, but it comes out from behind the blower on the passengers side. It's attached to something here because we tried pulling on it but couldn't get it loose. What do I have to remove inside the car to get this wiring harness disconnected and out of the car?

You have to disconnect the fuel pump relay and the plug from the ecu then send them though the fire wall to pull the harness.

what about the dash harness? I'm not able to find either of these. Everything looks like it's tucked behind the blower.

I have never had to pull a dash harness for a S14, good luck.

Nick do you have a number I can reach you at? I thought I had it at one time but now I can't find it. I might need a minute of your time tomorrow.

I'm about 50 minutes north of Indy... That'd be awesome if you could. SR will be here by the weekend, and from what I hear, the s13 harness is much easier to pull.

Did you ever get a hold of your friend to see what needed to be done?

Not too familiar with the process, but have you looked at the FSM? It doesnt say how to do it, but at least you can double check that youve disconneted all the plugs.

pages EL-193, 199...

Thanks for the reference, I'll check that out tonight. Then at least I'll know what else needs unplugged from under the dash.

The FSM shows 6 plugs under the dash... I've heard there are only 3. Can anybody confirm?

I'll post a pic within an hour or so.
