Has anyone ever succesfully repaired window motors before? or swapped motor internals (brushes and armatures) with othe JDM applications?I cant believe the motor manufacturer didnt use "common" motors for similar year JDM applications. Sure would be nice to be able to swap the motor parts from a junkyard honda or toyota into my S14. Wishful thinking I guess. TIA

I'm not sure if any other window motors can be swapped; but most times, replacing internals in the motor is just going to be a temporary fix.

like motors last forever anyway??? duh
