i orderd an s13 a/p for my rebuild from Phase2Motortrend, along with some other stuff, when the order got there there was a note on the receipt that said thery were currently out of stock on the s13 pumps & didnt plan on getting them in for a while, he told me to use the 14 pump & ignore the extra bolt hole & it wont leak as long as i use quality RTV also he told me that the 14/15 waterpumps flow a little more than the 13 pumps?has anyone ever heard of this or is running the 14 pump on ur 13 SR?i dont really think it will leak, but im just leary about it b/c i just rebuilt my motor & i have lots of $$ invested & dont want a coolant leak to hold me back from driving her & getting it tuned

yes you can use s14 s15 water pumps on s13 sr20det. This topic has been covered a few times. The s13 water pumps tend to cavitate and dont cool as efficiently. The s14 and s15 water pumps were redesigned so the flow better than the s13 ones.
