Ok to begin its a RB20DET Black top with RB25 turbo, RB26 cams and injectors.

I had resently had NIStune installed in the ECU with the base 20 tune but I had a known battery drain before even with my optima red top battery so I did the quest alt swap in and was doing the initial drive and got about a mile down the road and now it won't even crank. Had the starter tested and its fine. Haven't had the coil packs tested yet but I figured I'd asked the pool of experience to see because I hope I didn't fry the ECU. :facepalm:

Does a Rb20det black top even exist? never heard of it.
How did you get Rb26 cams to work?
Also I'm pretty sure when Optima's completely die, they stay dead.
When you installed the Alternator, did you hook up all 3 wires? had this same problem, you need to Ground out the alternator to the block. there is a spot for it where you hook up a ground wire.

They have been working in the motor for about a year just fine....and i bought it from a nissan certed tech who installed them and checked the serials on them to clerify his claim before a bought the car. the gel batterys as long as you slow charge should last alot longer than any other battery as long as they are not leaking or expanding just have to be charged properly. and when I unplugged my alternator I taped the ports including the block ground to ensure I did not mess it up when installing the swap.
