ive been working on a vvt sr swap for the past week trying to get **** done, wired up the harness and everything is hooked up, it starts and runs.. but we recieved an s13 mafs from our supplier saying we can get it to work with s14 sr if you use a potentiometer (sp). it is an 95 s14sr going into 97 s14

now for the past 3 days we have been trying to figure out his method and it is not working, everything else works perfect, starts up every time, just doesnt idle for **** because we cant figure out this ****in maf thing, makes it run pig rich like 50%more.

has anyone done this?

will an safc be enough to control the fuel?

need help from shop guys here

Just buy the proper maf or buy the 300zx with proper wires

you have to get a zenki sr20 maf, or a z32 and run the safc2, i am goin thru the same problem right now except i am tryin to run a s15 maf, if you have a safc i have been told you can set it up to run the s13 maf, i dont know what settings you need to do that though good luck with whatever you do and let me know how things go
