S14 VSS KA24DE/SR20DET/DE vehicle speed sensor

Does anyone have pictures of S14 VSS (vehicle speed sensor), SR20DET(DE) and KA24DE supposed to be the same. This is for manual (5speed) trans.

I changed my gauge cluster on my S13 to 180sx Type-X, my speed is off. To correct this I need a VSS from S14.

I have never seen a VSS from S14, since they are preatty rare.

I got a new VSS from Autozone, but I'm not sure if its the right one. S13 is all metal with long piece of wire and conector at the end.

The one I got for S14 is just plastic with no wire, just a conector plug hole.

Also the shaft where the gear would go on, comes out from the sensor, I'm not sure if this is normal or not. Otherwise I would have to go back and return it.Here are some pictures of Autozone S14 VSS I got, I'm still missing the gear that goes at the end.

If some one has some pictures, please help me out. Thanks.

It's off because it's reading in KMs? Might be missing something but I don't see how using a s14 sensor on and s13 cluster would help.

That is not what I asked for.

I just need to know if this is the S14 VSS, because I have never seen one with my very own 2 eyes. And is the metal piece supposed to be coming out like that (is this normal on new VSS). Other wise I have to go back to the store and return it.

And for your info this is why I need S14 VSS, my gauge cluster is from a 1997 180sx Type-x, its different from JDM S13 which are bouth in KM. But for now I'm using my old S13 VSS, and even KM are not correct.

By the way I checked today with ALTIMA was automatic sensors seemed to be same, I was unable to pull out sensor from trans. But the altima VSS plug plugs into my new sensor.
