if your car is close to stock i'd have to go with the civic (no matter how much i hate saying that), just cause a friend of mine has a 93 coupe with a gsr motor that ran 14's when it was pretty close to a stock motor.

hm, if it's well driven, and a good motor swap...then he'll kill you i say you have very little chance....

n dont race him, then come back n say you smoked him just cuz he burned the tires at the line

i wouldn't really say he'll rape the s14. he will get you in 3rd like someone mention earlier. other than that, you got advantage from the starting point until he his vtec kick in. the only reason i know is that when i use to own a 97 civic HB almost sotck, i kept up with a gsr until third then he smoked me.

If your car is basically stock, he will "rape" you. Did he say it was a GSR B18C1? It may be a B18C5, which is a type- R engine. I couldn't even watch if it was a B18C5.

If it is the C5 TypeR, he will most definitely pound you in the rear. If its the GSR, it will be more of a slight tapping, but a tapping none the less...

Even with "only" a GSR engine (170hp~), his car is very light, at a couple hundred pounds less than an S14 at least...dont embarass yourself, please =P

well you said b18c. b18c is a jdm motor.. either gsr or type r both have teh same engine code in japan, either way, youll get viciously raped. even before third gear i guarantee he'll have you.
