S14 vs. dodge ram w/360

Ok first off this would just be a friendly race no money or anything. My buddy has a 99 or so dodge ram pickup and wants to pick on my little 4 banger import. Anyway its extended cab, 2wd, K&N filter, catback w/flowmaster, chip, auto. I know that it weighs a ton but the 5.9 is a damn good motor and with the chip increased airflow it has to be making some good power. Chances are it will never happen but what do you think the outcome would be? It would be very embaressing to lose to a truck, and i would never hear the end of it. Oh yeah, my car- 95 240, cai, 2.5" catback, straight pipe, 5 speed, good new 235/40/17 tires in rear. I hope no one gets their panties in a bunch over this. I know street racing is bad, blah, blah, blah. we have heard it all before. It would happen in a very remote open place.

i hope I could take him. I havent drove trucks very much but i imagine it would be hard to get a good launch because there is no weight on top of the drive wheels and so much weight up front.

In my 02' blazer I could stomp my friend's Altima...so I probably could have come decently close to keeping up with a 240sx...I think it'll be a very close race but sadly, my money's on the truck. If it happens, tell us the outcome!

Are you mostly stock? As in no tarbo?

I laid the smackdown on an F150 yesterday. I even gave her a 1.5 car head start, so take that as a baseline.

yes,I am mostly stock for now, I just have intake /exhaust/ strait pipe and 17's. i removed what I could do without for a little weight savings.

If your friend is skilled at throttle control and can manage to control wheelspin, he'll probably walk all over you in first and maybe second. After that, it's anyone's guess.. his truck is governed at a ridiculously low speed, so if you must race on the street, try and make it more that just a 1/4 mile run.
