S14 VLSD verification

Im getting a new vlsd for my car and I am about to get a 95 J30 vlsd pumpkin. I just want verification from people who have swapped this into a non-ABS s14 that it is a direct bolt-in with the s14 output shafts.

Im not looking for people saying "it should fit". I simply want responses from people who have actually done this. Thanks.

Yea, it goes in just fine. You have to push the drive shaft in to the transmission some, But it bolts right in you wont even note the gear change. Youll love the two black strips you can leave after.

Just for reference... what bolt pattern are the s14 and j30 output shafts? Five, or six?

some J30's are 5, some are 6. all S14 output shafts are 6 bolt. also, i added a few washers to tilt the nose of the diff down a bit for extra clearance. it's worked for over a year now.

Sorry, I meant to ask what is the bolt pattern for the 95 J30... 6 i suppose, now that I know the s14 is 6.

The late 95's were 6, the early 95's were 5.
