S14 VH41DE power steering

hi guys

im new to the nico club
and what a club ae !

im harf way through my VH41DE convesion
with GTR gearbox into my 96 S14 . was
wondering if any one in new zealand could
help me with a custom power steering pump
bracket / hi presure line ???. i know of the
mazworx kits and havent ruled it out yet
just seeing what i can find a bit closer to
home

i used an electric power steer pump from MR2 and just made up the lines with braided hoses and fittings or go see someone at Parker Enzed or Hydraulink,i make alot of stuff at work (using lathes and mills all day long) post a little drawing and i can prob wip something up , i know how grumpy old engineers can be and expensive!Im up in Auckland.

used/had to make to use this set
up , also where is your pump

no probs ill get some photos and post them up with a few instructions , mounted under front guard,should be same for your s14, just got the pump on a switch and only really use it for driving under 40k, you could go to the trouble of wiring it up to a speed sensor but my motors never last long enough to warrant this, its got computer gremlins that i am working through at the moment.

Why not use OEM VH41DE pump? Mine does fit in S15 without any problem

my pump had about 3 hi pressure
lines coming of it with a gaint
surge tank thing that bolted to
the block from one of them ,
guessing because the 4WS .looked
very confusing so pulled it off

thinking of using a MR2 stering
pump at this stage

been working on my cefiro but it 95% done now

got my R32 GTR gearbox back few months back , custom
bell housing , and made RWD looks tasty lol

got my hands on a Y34 gloria ultima (vq30det) too
so got like 5 projects on atm what a mish
