All right people, I have searched and searched on this swap for about two weeks now. I have found some info but nothing really helpful. I already know about front crossmember issues, oil pan issues, shifter location, etc.. But i can find nothing on the wiring. The vg is coming out of a 85 z. And it is going in a 97 240. If someone could help me out with the diagram for the z, it would be great. Does anyone have any info on this swap (i.e. tricks, tips, specs, etc.) Like i said before i have searched countless hours and i am still short handed. I have found this out so far; oil pan is rear sump factory, needs to be modified to fit or use front sump one from a maxima or j30, modify s14 front crossmember (or will the z31 crossmember bolt in?), heater hoses will need to be modified, steering shaft issues will need to be worked out, shifter location, driveshaft issues... If there is anything i am missing please tell me. But what i really need to know is about the wiring...kinda lost on where these two harnesses need to be wired together at.
