I posted this in the 240 technical section but didnt get a reply and I was debating if I should post it in here in the first place so here it is

My thoughts were that I want to install a v-mount in my 95 s14 I plan on keeping my radiator in its stock location and locating the IC directly behind it and the slim fans the dimentions for the v-mount are 24x12x3.5 this should be small enough for very easy placement opposite to the alternative v-mount I was looking at that was 25x18x3.5 where I forseen all sorts of relocations to hoses and hardlines

this setup would be a tremendous gain in throtle responce with total piping amounting up to around 2.5 feet (including coupler & reducer lengths) as opposed to the 7-8 feet of piping on my current FMIC! thats some serious lag

with a core of this size 24x12x3.5 would it be able to efficently support a high 300-400rwhp setup @ around 20ish psi?

any thoughts comments or experienced v-mount users please post

hey thats a really good design basicly the same concept Im going for with trying to shorten the rediculously not needed length of IC piping,

so do you have this assembled and running now?how does it feel what improvements are noticeable or is this your first initial setup (no comparison)?

nice look btw, very unique

accually, that engine in the backround had a spung rod bearing so I never got it running. I have an s14 sr20 thats comming in on weds. So i have to wait to get that running. but Its pretty much exactly what you were asking about so I posted pics.

sry I dnt know what its from. I bought the setup like this. I just had to cut and make it fit. I can get demensions for you guys. The only thing I dnt like about the setup is the condensor has to get chucked, But if you are cool without AC go for it. I LOVE THE SETUP by the way
