s14 turbo timer wiring?

i have a apexi turbo timer (pen size one) and i only found the wiring diagram for the 92 wiring diagram and i followed it but when i turn off the car and the car doesnt stay on is the diagram the same for all 240s or is it diffrent i have a 95 thanks if u can help he out

I know that some S14's are different. I recently put a turbo timer into my friends car that had come out of a JDM S14 front clip. It turns out the ignition wiring for the USDM S14 is different than the USDM S13 and JDM S14. I think that if I remember corectly I had to add an extra wire to the turbo harness because the S14 had a wire that the turbo timer harness never came with. However if i remember correctly this wiring difference made his car not turn on properly.

Did you check to make sure you installed the e brake sensor.

does the e brake wire determine the timer from working correctly?can u use the timer without the e brake option i had a greddy timer and i never had to use the e brake option and it would work thanks guys

when i tried to wire mine up that came in the clip after using the timer i could not crank the car again i thought it must have been some sort of security but i dont get it

i gave up on mine last night used the test light ,volt light all was hooked up right and even hooked up the e brake still when i turned off the car it would shut off not count down

grounded it to the chasis, it turns on and all but wont count down after i turn the car off

Its is way easier just to get a harness for it. 14 bucks is only thing you would pay and it makes the job much easier.

As for the e-brake signal line... yes you would need to hook that up otherwise your turbotimer will not work. It's a safety measure... if your car was running on the turbo timer and the e-brake disengages then it will automaticallt shut it off. So, if you do not have that line hooked up the turbo timer will not let the car idle.

yeah gonna go with a greddy and the wire harness to bypass time and error
