I searched for trunk leak for an S14 and can't find anything. I sealed the tailights and it's still leaking somewhere. I cant' figure it out. If anyone has experienced this, please let me know. Thanks

heres a idea....strip the trim of the trunk down.... lay in the trunk with a flashlight....have a buddy spray water all over the trunk from the outside...and use ur flash light to look around and see where water is comin from...

or check behind the tail lights. Those seals can give out too. Additionally if you've a spoiler, you should check where the spoiler meets with the trunk lid.

i wish i could show you a pic of what mine was just doing... but it's dark out and it's in the shop.

take out the spare tire... towards the front/passenger side of where it sat, there's a black circlular plug about 3 inches diameter... well if you push on it, chances are it will just pop out onto the pavement like mine did. i took some of that 3m fender tape and went around it and stuck it back onto the body... haven't noticed a leak yet though.

there's actually two of them, the other black one is a little bit bigger i think and more towards the rear of the spare tire-well but should be sealed a little better than the other.

if that was confusing, let me know and i'll snap a pic lol

I found the leak. My trunk lid needs adjustment, it's sitting up a lil bit so the water goes thru the weather stripping. I adjusted it and it does'ntleak any more. Thanks for all your replies

it wasn't noticeably higher than the rear fenders?
