dont paint your interior trim peices different colors to be f***ing cool.. it looks stupid, you look stupid for doing it and the next owner will be irritated as f*** when they have to go undo the bs that you did. keep it stock or get a honda civic to paint everything red and yellow. fair enough? unless you are trying to make it look 'new' with some quality plastic black paint re-think what your goals are.

ohh well im not trying to rice up my 240 would never do that to ma baby. i was just curious how people paint and clear coat there trims cause mines kidve faded and needs replacment and i dont want to spend 40-50 dollars for a new bezel.

you can try the paint method, try flat or semi flat black and let it dry completely, at least over night. as for the new bezel, mine came broke and ive been looking for one for over a year now , i also refuse to pay the 70 bux shipped new.

To prep:- wet sand 600 grit- use Rustoleum Plastic Primer- Wet sand 600 again- more primer- Spray a few coats of Rustoleum "Black Night Metallic"- Wet sand 1000 grit- Wet sand 2000 grit- If you like how it looks (not too much orange peel, etc) use Novus Plastic Polish stage 3 then stage 2- I didn't clear coat it... But you might want to since it looks like it will scratch/chip easily.

Cheers

There I posted the instructions from the link for you. So whats so difficult about this??? There is no other way to do this. Its plastic, paint it.

Wow are you slow or what?
