you can use a lot of different transmissions on the ka24/sr20 motors.

I would certainly look before I leap on this... but all year 240sx/Silvia transmissions are swapable because they use the same transmission-bolt-on-pattern.

Auto/Manaul/S13/S14(95-96)/S14(97-98)/KA/SR <--- pick any combo you want, it doesn't matter..

BUT BUT BUT, you can't use the same driveshafts between s13s and s14s.. the s14 has a bigger output shaft from the transmission. The length of the driveshaft is different too... but sounds like it is a s14 - s14 swap anyway.. no worries.

I don't know about the s15 or 300zx, but it's easier to find a used s14 transmission anyway.

You probably could use the transmission from a Nissan hardbody truck too, they have the same (well, almost) ka24de motor

Long response, but hopefully helpful

correct me if Im wrong...but the SR's final gear is different from the final gear of the KA's. plus the bellhousing is a bit different.
